Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking a qualified Operations Manager I, Multi-Service for an Oil & Gas client in Houston, TX

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the safety and daily facilities management activities in Janitorial, Landscaping, Pest Control, Mail-room Services, Event coordination, and Site Services. The Operations Manager is also responsible for, but not limited to, training, onboarding new employees, and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for two or more core services to ensure account retention.
Fulfills contractual obligations to the client.
* Supervising a team of 20 or more frontline staff on day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, scheduling and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards.
* Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training and equipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs and with standards and procedures for the handling and storage of hazardous materials and/or waste and complies with all government regulations
* Plans projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables, and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plans.
* Manages the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, materials), complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when necessary.
* Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
* Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.
* Experience working in an oil & gas environment is a plus

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
