**Shift:** Monday - Friday 1pm - 9:30pm (or task completed)

**Anticipated salary range:** $86,4000 - $123,400 per year

**_What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health_**

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

**_Key Responsibilities:_**

_Receiving:_

+ Oversee the receiving of inbound shipments and inventory, ensuring accuracy in counts, documentation, and quality control.

+ _Coordinate with the inventory control team to ensure proper placement and tracking of incoming stock._

+ _Address any issues with damaged goods or discrepancies in shipments._

_Pick, Pack, and Ship:_

+ _Manage and monitor the picking and packing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency._

+ _Oversee the preparation and shipping of orders, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch._

+ _Implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance productivity._

_Team Leadership:_

+ _Supervise and manage the 2nd shift warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, conducting training, and addressing any performance issues._

+ _Foster a positive and safe working environment._

+ _Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to the team to promote continuous improvement._

_Operations Management:_

+ _Monitor daily operations to ensure the warehouse meets productivity and accuracy targets._ ?

+ _Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, monitor KPIs, and generate reports._

+ _Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, inventory control, and customer service to ensure smooth operations._

_Safety and Compliance:_

+ _Enforce warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures._

+ _Address and resolve safety concerns promptly, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees._

+ Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff

+ Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

+ Ensures employees operate within guidelines
