We have made our way to over 15 countries and are continuing to grow and expand all over the world! We service markets in industrial rubber, tire rubber, and any specialty carbon!Position OverviewThe Operations Manager for Chemical Manufacturing will oversee the daily operations and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. This role is crucial for enhancing productivity, managing resources efficiently, and developing the workforce to achieve the company's goals.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all operations within the chemical manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance planning to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Manage budget preparation and cost control to optimize resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with external support for commissioning and technical guidance.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives to build a high-performing team.
  • Facilitate communication among teams to ensure alignment with company goals and policies.
  • Prepare monthly reports on operational performance and environmental reporting.
  • Act as a point of contact for regulatory compliance and emergency decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, etc.)
  • Proven supervisory experience in chemical manufacturing or related industry.
  • Knowledge of NERC standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with commissioning, diagnostics, and installation processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Ability to travel as required for site visits and inspections.
  • State licensing in relevant operational areas preferred.
  • Physical abilities to manage operational tasks and emergency situations.
