Eliot's Homeless Division is seeking an individual with strong engagement, support planning/implementation and organizational skills to take on the role of Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have Knowledge/experience in supporting homeless adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders. Knowledge of public entitlements (EAEDC, Social Security, Food stamps, etc.,) and other resources.
Eliot's Homeless Services provides services to those with serious mental health illnesses or with co-occurring substance use disorders, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Our Clinicians provide support services directly to the homeless in emergency shelters or on the streets of Massachusetts
Qualifications:
* Must have Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing or related field, or 2 years of human services experience.
* Candidates with compelling lived experience with 1-year professional experience in human services field will be considered.
* Must have strong commitment to Housing First and Harm Reduction approaches to care.
* Must have strong organizational, outreach, and communication skills.
* Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
* Provide real-time logistical support to CSP-HI leadership and staff, including but not limited to collecting and tracking vital documents and leases for housing placements, coordinating client moves, and supply/food delivery for clients in need.
* Develop and implement a centralized plan for client transportation and resource distribution.
* Collaborate closely with Eliot's BHCP Team to support enrollment and leveraging ACO funded tenancy sustaining supports.
* Develop and implement tracking system to ensure individuals served have all resources and benefits they are entitled to.
* Identify and effectively addresses systemic and/or administrative issues to optimize efficiency and workflow within the field.
* Serve as a member of on call/after hours rotation.
* Oversee Boston based program supplies/inventory and complete ordering as needed
* Oversee Columbus Avenue Food and Resource Pantry.
* Assist Director of CSP-HI and Quality Assurance Team with Quality Management of program including internal audits to ensure fidelity to MassHealth Performance Specifications.
* Provide field outreach interim stabilization services for clients recently housed as needed/assigned.
* Escalate crisis/emergency calls to appropriate member of the Leadership Team in real-time.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Bilingual candidates preferred and eligible to receive a 6% differential if fluent in needed language.
