Operations Manager (Field)Pieper Electric is hiring a Field Operations Manager to manage construction projects. The Field Operations Manager will manage safety, general contractor, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, profits, and sales growth of one or more customers or projects. Continually prospect for new customers and expand services into new regions within his/her area of responsibility. Conduct business in accordance with PPC and Pieper Electric's mission and vision statements.Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure all Superintendents are executing as required by their job description.- Ensure all Superintendents have the resources necessary to fulfill the requirements of their job description. Resources include but are not limited to tools, equipment, manpower, and training.- Report to the Branch Manager and work closely with the Project Management team to ensure a seamless link between field operations and project management. - Be accountable for overall productivity and forecasting all resource needs to the extent necessary for the project manager to forecast revenue, cost, and man hours, monthly.Safety- Facilitating quality daily talks to include development and review of JHA by entire crew before work begins.- Ensure crews complete 1 BBS per 80 man hours- Provide oversight and review of all safety plansQuality- Ensure red-line drawings are being maintained per contract on all applicable projects- Ensure storage, handling, installation, and testing is in compliance with approved submittals and contract- Provide oversight and accountability for the accuracy of daily reports- Provide task specific training opportunities to avoid unnecessary reworkContract Compliance - Understand scope of work with inclusions and exclusions - Understand contract requirements regarding notifications of delay, RFIs, etc.- Document and communicate with the PM, anything that may change the project plan - Ensure Superintendents are meeting schedule requirementsPieper Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer- Minority/Disabled/Veterans/Females are encouraged to apply.
