Through its core values of innovation, engagement, and health equity, HCPH strives to bring meaningful solutions to public health issues while keeping Harris County healthy and vibrant.Position Overview:As part of the Community Health and Violence Prevention Services Division's (CHVPS) leadership team, the HART (Holistic Assistance Response Team) Operations Manager will oversee, supervise, and manage the daily operational and field activities of the HART program at Harris County Public Health.Duties & Responsibilities:* Coordinates and supervises the HART program daily field operations and training activities; and develops and maintains up to date procedures manual for staff* Works in collaboration with CHVPS leadership, the HART Program Manager, and HART Medical Director in planning, organizing, and directing the delivery of HART services throughout the County; producing reports as needed* With CHVPS leadership, improves operational management systems, processes and best practices, as needed* Oversees inventory management, including: researching supplies (cost, quality, etc.), providing data driven reports outlining supply forecast and utilization, and developing and maintaining procedures to ensure supply needs are met; providing supervision over fleet maintenance, medical equipment, and supplies.* Coordinates procedures and regulations with all pertinent agencies and ensures policies and procedures remain consistent and up to date with compliance and labor laws.* Participates in development, evaluation and revision of protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); and ensures adherence to medical and response protocols and SOPs* Handles personnel functions for staff; ensures training meets Harris County, Public Health, and State certification requirements; monitors and evaluates work, ensuring the HART program is in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws* Participates in community information and engagement events to promote HART services.* Prepares and submits various reports as required by division, department, local, state, and federal governments; oversees filing and maintenance of reports, records, and other documents as required by department, county, federal, state and local laws and regulations.Harris County is an Equal Opportunity Employer you need special services or accommodations, please call (713) ###-#### or email ...@bmd.hctx.netThis position is subject to a criminal history check.
