Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all functions related to the safe and effective operation of the park and assigned areas to include ensuring that all appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of all staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Labor laws and guidelines.
  • Ensure that all expenditures are tracked and maintained within established budgetary guidelines including the preparation of monthly forecasts.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all aspects of the Corporate Safety & Operations policies.
  • 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures as developed through park specific policies and SFTP corporate policy.
  • Ensure compliance with DOL, DOH, and ASTM.
  • Responsible for impacting overall guest satisfaction by advocating guest service programs and initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Division to minimize downtime and maximize safety and throughput of all rides and attractions.
  • Ensure that all Team Members within assigned department are properly trained and equipped to perform their job responsibilities.
  • Ensure all ride areas and units are cleaned and guest ready for every operating day.
  • Cover Park Duty Manager shifts as assigned.
  • Enforce all park policies and procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.
  • Other duties as assigned- All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole. Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years' experience in Theme Park Operations Management.
  • Clear demonstration of Total Safety principles and applications.
  • Experience preparing and forecasting budgets.
  • Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
  • Leadership ability with a team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
  • College degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation, as well as through established system
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong motivational, leadership and team building skills.

  • Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to report to duty as needed, with limited notice during situations such as inclement weather preparation/recovery
  • Must possess a valid driver s license and a clear driving record.

Salary Range: $65,000- $72,000
