Job DescriptionOur client, a leading packaging company, is currently seeking an accomplished Operations Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:1) Hire, lead, train, mentor and develop the Project Coordinator Team to ensure productivity, teamwork and professional growth2) Foster a culture of growth, fun, entrepreneurial spirit and thinking big3) Utilize QuickBooks expertise to manage operational transactions, including processing customer POs, receiving items, reconciling inventory, and invoicing4) Keep clear and concise documentation of activities, including signed BOLs, packing slips, and critical project communications5) Audit transactions to ensure compliance with company procedures6) Conduct and reconcile month and year-end counts with partner locations7) Implement Electronic Data Interchange solutions to streamline communication and transactions with customers8) Drive the adoption of Microsoft OneDrive, OneNote, and SharePoint to enhance document management and team collaboration9) Seek out automation of daily repetitive tasks where it makes sense10) Maintain an in-depth understanding of contract packing processes and bills of materials to ensure accurate project execution11) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize packaging processes and efficiencies12) Develop expertise in the documentation and task requirements of major customers and their retailers13) Ensure customer satisfaction by proactively addressing their needs and concernsCritical Requirements1) A university degree is required.
