Job Description:

Our client, a leading provider in the legal services sector, is seeking an experienced bilingual (Spanish) Operations Manager with a background in Lean Manufacturing and a proven track record of building operational processes from the ground up. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to streamline operations for maximum efficiency and productivity within the firm's practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and former Operations Manager to set and achieve firm-wide objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflows and process adherence.
  • Lead weekly production line meetings with department coordinators to ensure quality control and timely follow-up.
  • Design and implement efficient operational strategies, policies, and systems.
  • Optimize resource allocation and workflows, leveraging Lean principles to enhance efficiency.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the team, ensuring clarity of direction and roles.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new staff members to meet organizational needs.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to improve operational outcomes and elevate overall performance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions to streamline operations.
  • Monitor financial metrics and work closely with the CFO to optimize budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure high-quality client service and satisfaction, specifically focusing on the production line.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.
  • Actively participate in weekly management and daily team meetings, contributing to operational planning, issue resolution, and process improvement.
  • Ensure that all production line deadlines are met, aligning with the firms broader goals and client service expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in Spanish (read, write, speak)
  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager role, ideally within an environment where lean methods were used
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and demonstrated ability to build and refine operational processes from scratch.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving performance improvements.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to implement and manage performance metrics, KPIs, and improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with financial oversight and budget management.
