Kane Selection is representing a Nationally renowned Heavy Equipment Dealer who provide industry beating machinery and solutions to Construction, Forestry and Road Building industries. The Operations Manager will take complete ownership of the Branch including service, parts, customer management and all associated admin.

The company have vast lines of heavy machinery, from instantly recognised and market leading manufacturers, that service multiple industries and customers across America.

The role is ideal for someone with a Service background in the industry who has a proven track record in managing service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate field and shop technicians to effectively meet customer needs and expectations.
• Ensure all service technicians have access to the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
• Oversee the timely opening, closing, and billing of all work orders to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Stay informed on all safety training requirements, product offerings, and departmental goals.
• Guide technicians in completing all required training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Enforce adherence to all company safety protocols among parts and service personnel to maintain a safe working environment.
• Achieve assigned productivity goals and manage the financial performance of the branch responsibly.
• Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner, supporting operational efficiency.
• Maintain supervisory oversight of the facilities and yard, ensuring they are well-organized and functional.

Required Experience

• A service background, ideally in Heavy Equipment/Diesel Engines
• Experience in managing, scheduling, leading and motivation a service team

The role will suit anyone from the Heavy Equipment market who has experience as an Operational Leader, with a service technician background or, a service manager/shop technician looking to progress.
