About the role: The Operations Manager, under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Operations, manages overall field services, operations, and functions in assigned areas including post reviews, Specialist inspections, emergency response, client liaison, post order compliance reviews, and special projects as assigned. They must perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Ensure compliance with general and specific post orders for assigned Specialist positions.
- Manage and coordinate all security operations and programs in the assigned area.
- Partner with client location representatives to ensure proper utilization and execution of security programs.
- Respond in a timely manner to emergent events, issues, staffing deficiencies, and client requests.
- Initiate preliminary investigations and write incident reports on all internal personnel issues.
- Ensure personnel are provided with necessary equipment, and equipment is accounted for.
As a candidate you must have:
- High School diploma.
- Must possess and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law.
- Minimum 4 years in corporate safety and security supervision, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Must be technically proficient with common PC/MAC-based software and applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (regular and non-business hours) to support and respond to the client's daily Safety & Security operational needs.
- Requires a thorough knowledge of security procedures, life-safety, and business continuity.
- Knowledgeable and proficient with Security Operations Center related technologies such as Lenel On Guard access control systems.
