Position Description:Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager Westchester is responsible for the safe, reliable, and profitable operations of the company's commercial / industrial electrical construction business in Local 3 North. The primary objective is to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental practices, ensure profitable and reliable operations, and grow the business. The operations manager will be responsible for all business operations, P&L control, implementation, and development for this line of business.Key Responsibilities:Manage and grow your divisionProvide turn-key solution for company and clientsMaintain and expand client relationshipsEstimating oversight throughout the project lifecycleLiaise with field supervisionBudgeting and P&L responsibilitiesMaximizing efficiency in the implementation of detailed project plansAbility to run a business unit inside a larger organizationIdentify areas of process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and profitabilityProvide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, informing them of project status, risks, and milestonesLiaise with field supervisionQualifications:12-15 years of project manager experience, with 3-5 years of operations experience requiredBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical contracting/engineering fieldStrong experience in large complex commercial and industrial projectsPrevious work experience within a Union Environment a mustPractical knowledge of all phases of constructionExcellent written and verbal communication skills Strong Estimating experience, knowledge of McCormick software, a plus175### ####00 per annum + Bonus, Healthcare, 401kNew York Construction HVAC/R
