The ideal candidate will have proven experience in operations management, with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. You will work closely with department heads and executives to streamline processes, manage resources, and support the company's strategic goals.Objectives of this Role:
- Collaborate with executive-level management in developing long-term operational plans.
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Improve operational systems and processes to ensure best practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective manner.
- Improve management systems, processes, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee warehouse efficiency, including inventory control processes.
- Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant and enforce safety and regulatory standards.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives to support company goals.
- Perform quality controls, monitor production KPIs, and ensure the timely completion of tasks.
- Recruit, train, and supervise relevant staff to ensure high performance.
- Communicate with stakeholders about shifting priorities, company objectives, and project progress.
- Identify potential problems and points of friction, implementing solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
- Explore opportunities to adjust operations or shift course in response to market changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in an operational and/or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles.
- Leadership ability, with strong personal and professional judgment.
- Excellent communication skills to work with various departments and stakeholders.
- Outstanding organizational skills, with adaptability to respond to shifting business needs.
- Comfortable navigating legal and regulatory processes to ensure compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the auction world.
- Experience in developing innovative solutions for increased productivity.
- Superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings.
- A demonstrated track record of success in managing operational teams.
- 2 or 4 year degree in a related field, preferred.
