Job Description:

* Position requires excellent people skills - must be able to communicate with diverse levels of employees

* Knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement Programs

* Responsible for the daily performance of the manufacturing facility(ies).

* Facilitate global benchmarking and lead center cooperation.

* Development of a monthly SIOP and Production Smooth Plan.

* Report out plant metrics as prescribed in BOS

* Controlling & Planning: Implements the LC's short, mid and long-term goals according

* to strategic and operative planning.

* Is responsible for budget planning for own area of responsibility. Reviews

* performance of budgets.

* Ensures timely and cost-effective production and delivery of product per customer

* requirements. Ensures innovative use of existing resources utilizing lean

* manufacturing techniques and systems.

* Leads operations to achieve benchmark levels for attainment, scrap and lean

* processes.

* Leadership and Management: Is responsible for all hourly and salary associates

* working in the manufacturing areas. Ensures efficient planning and staffing.

* Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Ensures that all legal and Freudenberg requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment are fulfilled.

* Ensures customer satisfaction. Promotes employee's quality awareness and initiates relevant training. Initiates and leads scrap reduction projects

* Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience

* 10 years Operations Management or leadership experience

* MS office proficiency needed

* Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently

* Must be actively working toward or willing to achieve Green Belt Certification
