Positional Overview

Are you a seasoned Operations Manager with a passion for leading people? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our client's team, acting as a bridge between our management team and production supervisors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, quality control, and sanitation. You will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Role & Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Implement and manage quality control processes to ensure product consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise sanitation practices, ensuring all facilities are clean, organized, and adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the timely and efficient sourcing of raw materials.
  • Develop and implement production planning strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate with the sales manager and other management team members to align production goals with company objectives.
  • Act as a team builder, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication between the management and production teams.
  • Participate in hands-on training in production and quality techniques and bring back knowledge to improve internal processes.
  • Support food safety initiatives by staying informed of industry standards and ensuring all practices comply with safety regulations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in production management, with a focus on food or manufacturing industries.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred, but not required).
  • Proven experience in production planning and efficiency optimization.
  • Strong team building and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
