Position Description - Operations Manager Business Group/Dept: Operations FLSA: Exempt Reports To: Managing Director Date: March 27, 2024 Purpose of the Position Drives operational integrity, efficiency, and compliance of the Company. Oversees the company's field operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely, compliantly, and in alignment with the company's strategic goals. Serves as a key point of coordination for all supervisors, who have a dotted line reporting to this role, ensuring consistent and effective management practices across the organization. Essential Position Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the field, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Monitor performance against operational targets and KPIs, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Champion a culture of safety and compliance within the organization. Develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols and compliance guidelines, ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to all supervisors, establishing clear expectations and accountability. Facilitate regular communication and coordination among supervisors to ensure operational consistency and effectiveness.
- Continually assess and optimize operational processes and workflows. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the development and implementation of training programs for operational staff. Ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Serve as a key liaison between the field operations team and senior management. Provide regular updates on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Company Business Leader and other senior leaders to align field operations with the company's strategic objectives. Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of operational strategies.
