Job Description:
- Manage daily activities of all service and transportation personnel
- Work in alignment with company goals/objectives for ready status, idle fleet, three-year maintenance, and customer service quality standards
- Responsible for lease unit repair, maintenance, and overall condition
- Maintain and manage Fleet Repair and Maintenance Budget
- Communicate and coordinate with customers in a timely manner regarding service calls, keep customers informed of job progress throughout process
- Oversee maintenance of company vehicles and equipment, ensure maintenance logs are updated and accurate
- Handle transport related inspections and reporting with necessary regulatory agencies
- Estimate and manage custom modification and refurbishment project budgets; proper submittal and completion of custom lease and capitalization forms per company policy
- Estimate fleet costs for potential improvements, repair considerations, and field work
- Source and hire subcontractors for fleet repair, improvements and remodels
- Perform monthly yard and material inventories, order materials and supplies for fleet (repair materials, install materials, walls, steps, furniture, security bars, etc.)
- Generate and track PO's with proper coding, dates, and amounts
- Responsible for accuracy of unit notes and descriptions in Dynamics 365
- Conduct weekly safety meetings with service and transportation personnel
- Active participation and lead safety topic in monthly branch meetings
- Maintain proper documentation for branch safety logs
- Overall responsibility for facilities maintenance, appearance, organization, and unit identification
- Other duties as assigned by Regional Operations Manager or DOO
Skills/Qualifications:
- Supervisory/Management experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional knowledge of construction materials and building techniques
- Experience purchasing materials and budget tracking
- Provide an acceptable driver's abstract and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record per Pacific Mobile standards
- Forklift certified or willing to become forklift certified through employer paid program
Physical Requirements:
- Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
- Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces
- Spend hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Operate handheld power tools
- Wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
