Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Area Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the provision of quality and appropriate services to the consumers who receive residential services. In all their endeavors, shall promote the agency mission statement to maximize the quality of life experiences for our consumers; inspire the confidence of the families of our consumers, provide growth opportunities and economic stability for all Caregiver staff and participate in shaping local, state and national policies affecting people with disabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Service Delivery Leadership (SDL): Develops, implements, supervises, and monitors services for client care/individuals served to ensure compliance with regulations and establish best practices.
* Staffing and Scheduling: Manages staffing levels and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage while minimizing overtime. Provides oversight and support to maintain consistent service delivery.
* Relias Training: Coordinates and ensures completion of required Relias training modules for staff to maintain compliance and promote professional development.
* Sandata Updates: Trains staff on Sandata system updates, ensuring accurate time tracking and compliance with state regulations.
* Emergency Plans: Develops, implements, and trains staff on emergency plans, including protocols for fire, flood, tornadoes, and hurricanes.
* On-the-Job Training (OJT): Provides OJT to new hires and existing staff to ensure understanding of role-specific responsibilities and expectations.
* Reviewing and Approving Time (ATO Approvals): Reviews and approves time entries, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
* Paycor/Ultipro: Utilizes Paycor and Ultipro systems for interviewing, hiring, and managing employee information.
* Client Care Oversight: Ensures the well-being and safety of clients/individuals served, monitoring for any signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation and taking appropriate action when concerns arise.
* Compliance and Audits: Participates in audits, responds to deficiencies, and ensures timely implementation of corrective actions.
* Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in human services, social work or other related field or will accept equivalent, verifiable, successful work experience.
* Preferred a minimum of 1 year of management experience in a multi-site environment.
* Prefer exposure to developmental disabilities environment.
* Valid Texas Driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
Knowledge and Skills
* Requires extensive mental activities including the ability to: use educated and intuitive judgement, advise, counsel, influence, debate, negotiate, organize, plan and synthesize concepts.
* Ability to work in a demanding environment.
* Must be able to make wise decisions under stressful circumstances.
* Requires exceptional coaching and mentoring skills to improve employee development.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Equipment skills required: using a PC, calculator, copier, fax machine, scanner.
