Basic Function: The Provider Management Manager will play a pivotal role in supervising the day-to-day responsibilities of their team. Lead a hybrid team of operations associates responsible for the dissemination of information as it relates to product providers. Act as liaison between Lincoln and our product providers.

Responsibilities:

Management:

* Manage, monitor, and track output to ensure service levels are met. Compile statistical information through scorecards to measure staff performance.

* Work with team members to plan, establish, implement, monitor, and continually improve team practices and procedures, customer service practices, standards, and team quality control.

* Collaborate with internal partners and teams in support of the advisor/client relationship to resolve complex issues.

* Audit current tasks within the department to ensure they have a procedure associated with the process and are being followed correctly and accurately.

* Serve as the point of contact for escalated issues from staff and internal partners.

* Ensure work is appropriately prioritized in partnership with Priority Advisor requests.

* Function as the subject matter expert on projects impacting Provider Management.

Leadership:

* Develop individual and team training plans which will include coordinating and conducting on the job training for new team members and cross-training.

* Hires, evaluates, trains, and supervises staff. Conduct employee counseling sessions and disciplinary sessions; participate and recommend action regarding all other team-staffing issues.

* Write performance appraisals, conduct score card reviews and performance evaluations, and establish and monitor individual and team goals in conjunction with Lincoln's strategic and business plans.

Knowledge/Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Financial Services/Investment Operations industry.

* Experience with a transfer agent, broker/dealer, mutual fund, or insurance company.

* Experience with reconciliation of financial and non-financial data across multiple systems.

* Strong knowledge of AS400 system.

Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Physical and Other Requirements: May sit at workstation for extended periods of time. May view computer screens for extended periods of time. Periods of fast pace are normal particularly when working to meet deadlines.
