What You Will Do:
* Manage and account for all inventory across 3 warehouses and field service locations (Odessa, Pecos and Hobbs, NM)
* Manage shop hand and material handling employees
* Provide performance management, development and coaching as needed
* Work with regional sales team and manage local supply chain for both over the counter sales as well as long lead projects
* Coordinate with Houston team for inventory requests and transfers
* Conduct periodic physical inventory counts for 3 Permian locations
* Generate work orders for material release
* Ensure load out inspections are completed prior to dispatch
* Review documentation and material was delivered to location
* Assist in closing Sales Orders
* Work with regional sales team to plan inventory for long lead projects
* Coordinate with Houston manufacturing and local supply chain
* Assist in implementation of min/max stocking program and continually monitor for needed adjustments
* Coordinate purchase of material movement equipment with Houston team and track delivery schedule
* Manage inventory transfer process between facilities
* Manage inventory movement and supporting documentation
* Identify/address opportunities to reduce costs; control overtime; monitor/improve efficiency and availability
* Work to achieve goal of zero accidents by taking a leadership role in safety
* Participate and lead Continuous Improvement activities in the 3 Permian locations
Position Details:
* Candidate must reside in Odessa, TX or surrounding areas
* Route Territory will include supporting 3 shop locations in Odessa, Pecos and Hobbs, NM
* Work week and shift: 7AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday, some weekend work and overtime may be required
* Compensation package offered: competitive annual salary and eligibility for annual incentive bonus
* New hire training provided - New Employee Orientation in Houston, TX, Product training, business processes and procedures, HSE & Quality training. Forklift certification, as needed.
* Office environment at a warehousing and manufacturing location and may be subject to weather conditions including extreme heat and cold on occasion.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or the following experience; at least 5 years of inventory experience in manufacturing industry and at least 3 years of experience in inventory management role
* Lean manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement experience
* Hands on leadership
* Must be able to lead root cause analysis investigations.
* Proficient in MS Office, and a materials management business system (ERP)
* Effective time management and strong organizational skillset
* Strong communication and team leadership skills
* Must be able to work extended hours and shift work as business needs dictate; on call as required
* Regular weekly travel to branch locations and some air travel to HQ or other business locations in the US
* Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
* May require acceptable MVR, if asked to drive company vehicle.

* Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
* Minimal kneeling, crawling, squatting, lifting up to 40lbs, twisting, stretching, pushing and pulling up to 10%.
* Occasional crouching, climbing ladders and stairs, balancing, lifting up to 25lbs, reaching, handling, fingering, pinching, grasping, turning, picking and driving between 11% and 33%.
* Frequent bending and lifting up to 10lbs between 33% and 66%.
* Constant collating/filling, using a keyboard, viewing a computer monitor, dialing, sitting, standing, walking, seeing, hearing, writing and speaking greater than 66%.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Oracle ERP experience
* Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management
* Advanced skills in MS Office
