Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Operations Manager located in Austin, TX.Reporting to the Director, Operations, the Operations Manager is responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources, and leading an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence. What a typical day looks like:
  • Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
  • Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
  • Manage production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
  • Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
  • Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
  • Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to (ISO13485).
  • Report to leadership team in weekly operations reviews.
  • Coach and mentor Operations leadership.
  • Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor degree in equivalent field, Master's or MBA Preferred
  • 8 years of manufacturing operations experience.
  • Demonstrates expertise in complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas
  • Demonstrates advanced people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Demonstrate good decision making
  • ISO13485 experience (Certification Preferred)
