If you are looking for opportunity, we've got it.* Work with a great team!WHAT YOU'LL DO* Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily; coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments* Complete various dispatch duties, including: performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, vehicle inspections, and paperwork audits* Lead by example in performance, attitude, attendance and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation* Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training* Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner* Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines* Responsible for employee development, accountability and corrective action programs* Responsible for being an on-call emergency contact outside of normal business hours* Acts as a point of contact for new and existing customers to establish a rapport and build confidence in TWO MEN AND A TRUCK services* Asks open-ended, probing questions to determine customer requirements and expectations* Directly and accurately inputs information in to Movers Who Care software to estimate cost for customers, as well as scheduling needs for movers, drivers and trucks* Makes recommendations according to customer's needs on moving services, boxes, supplies and equipment and other value-added services; may recommend alternate services and/or products based on cost, availability or customer specifications* Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.* Performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.* All other duties as assignedWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR* High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred* Management, business, or other relevant experience is required* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record* Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens* Must be willing to work Saturday's and one Sunday a month* Effective communication skills (verbal and written)* Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop and direct people* Ability to assess the performance of self, employees and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action* Strong decision-making ability* Basic truck/vehicle knowledge* Experience in the fields of general labor, management, non-CDL transportation, landscaping, construction, project management, logistics, production, manufacturing, assembly, factory or warehouse helpfulThis job posting is for a position at the individually owned and operated TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise located in Pooler, Georgia.
