We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing and supporting our production and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management
- Provide daily leadership and oversight to production teams, ensuring high-quality execution of landscape and snow removal projects.
- Collaborate with crew leaders and members to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Support hiring, training, and development initiatives for new and existing team members.
Scheduling & Operations
- Utilize Aspire software to:
- Schedule crews efficiently.
- Review and optimize routes.
- Monitor productivity and generate detailed operational reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to maximize crew effectiveness and minimize downtime.
Facility & Equipment Oversight
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of shop and yard spaces, ensuring a professional and safe work environment.
- Oversee the mechanic and fleet of equipment, including coordinating repairs, maintenance schedules, and inspections.
- Ensure all equipment is ready for operations and plan for replacements or upgrades as needed.
Training & Development
- Develop and deliver safety and on-site training programs for crew leaders and team members.
- Train staff on the use of new equipment, industry best practices, and company standards.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures across all operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and provide corrective actions or additional training as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within landscape construction, maintenance, or snow removal.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple teams and priorities.
- Proficiency with Aspire software or a similar operational management platform is preferred.
- Knowledge of landscape construction methods, maintenance best practices, and snow removal operations.
- Highly organized individual with excellent planning and forecasting abilities to support both current operations and future growth.
- Experience managing equipment fleets, including maintenance schedules and repair coordination.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and mentor diverse teams.
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
- Valid driver's license; additional certifications in the landscape or construction industry are a plus.
