We've gained this success by continuing to focus on CDI's three core values: FAST - EASY - FUN.FAST: Respond quickly - EASY: Don't complicate things - FUN: Be a great day makerPosition Summary:The Operations Manager is responsible for production efficiency management including; labor, material and equipment utilization. This position works directly with Plant Leaders on continuous improvement specifically related to maximizing the utilization of all resources and efficiency. Essential Functions:Manage the successful implementation of workflow efficiency and labor management. Utilize data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer serviceStrong Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work professionally and effectively with all levels of the company and cross functional teams.Demonstrated experience of facility management and maintenance.Manage the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance each plant's maximum internal capacity. Participates in the update, development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations. Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget. Skilled in evaluating and revising operations and procedures in response to organizational changes and growthPerforms other duties as assigned.RequirementsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:A Bachelor's Degree and related plant management experience; seven to ten years minimum preferred.Two or more years of proven success in a manufacturing management role and eagerness to participate in continued management growth opportunities.Strong skills in understanding and adhering to budgetary requirements.Demonstrated application of CDI, Inc. core values.Six Sigma Green Belt or higherBasic computer knowledgeOutstanding leadership/teaching skills; ability to motivate, train, develop and evaluate subordinates.Excellent Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; capable of analyzing reports and composing written reports and communications.
