The Operations Manager will be a key leader responsible for enhancing quality, safety, and performance metrics while effectively managing and developing a team. This role is critical to the leadership team, focusing on delivering outstanding operational results and ensuring that daily activities align with the company's vision and strategic goals. As an Operations Manager, you will lead with a continuous improvement mindset, driving transformation and achieving results with minimal guidance.Key responsibilities:In this position, you will be accountable for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity. You will ensure that operations are executed in alignment with the leadership team's strategies and demonstrate complete ownership of your area. Managing and tracking data, such as time accounting and inventory transactions, will be part of your duties, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.Team management and productivity:You will manage daily activities to meet production targets while enhancing team productivity. This involves optimizing processes, adhering to schedules, and embracing new technology advancements. Leading and supervising your team, you will focus on maintaining high standards in productivity, quality, safety, and profitability. Collaboration with other departments to identify and implement process improvements will be crucial to your success.Work environment and quality assurance:Improving the work environment will be a key aspect of your role, including advancing housekeeping practices, addressing safety risks, and enforcing safety procedures. You will work closely with team members to ensure that internal and external customer needs are met. Leading team meetings and maintaining strict quality control measures will help ensure high-quality output and continuous improvement in all areas of operations.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and possess strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems. You should have at least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience, demonstrating high organizational and communication skills.
