General Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a candidate with experience as a medical collections operations manager. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in managing aged receivables and hands-on experience training collectors.
You will lead a team of approximately 100 collectors and 6 team leaders in our call center. Your role will involve overseeing daily operations, including training, quality assurance, goal setting, and performance management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the medical collections team.
- Provide training and quality assurance to ensure optimal performance.
- Set goals and manage performance metrics.
- Supervise and support a team of collectors and team leaders.
Key Requirements:
- Proven expertise in debt collection techniques and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership experience in operations in a call center environment related to medical collections, healthcare, or accounts receivables.
- A deep understanding of hospital revenue cycle management practices and experience with aged receivables.
- Proficiency in relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA, FDCPA, and FCRA.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership with a talent for motivating and coaching staff to achieve optimal performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in a Windows environment.
