**Job Description:**
The Operations Office Manager will oversee key operational aspects of the NJ Vehicle Inspection Program, including direct management of the warehouse, inventory control, and the Call Center. This role will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations, resource management, and implementing process improvements. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader skilled in organizational oversight, change management, and MS Office, with a strong commitment to supporting the objectives of the inspection program. Occasional travel (less than 20%) may be required for this position.
**Responsibilities** :
**Warehouse & Inventory Management**
+ Oversee the warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient storage and retrieval of inspection materials and equipment.
+ Implement best practices in inventory control, monitoring stock levels, and managing the ordering process to meet program needs.
**Call Center Operations**
+ Supervise Call Center activities to ensure high-quality customer support, optimal service levels, and adherence to program guidelines.
+ Collaborate with Call Center staff to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and implement training for service excellence.
**Resource Management**
+ Manage and lead a diverse team, including warehouse staff, Call Center agents, and other support personnel.
+ Handle team scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluations to maintain a productive work environment.
+ Mentor and develop team members to enhance skill sets and promote growth within the organization.
**Process Improvement & Change Management**
+ Identify operational bottlenecks and areas for improvement, implementing strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the office.
+ Act as a change agent, leading organizational improvements and ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly with minimal disruption.
+ Collaborate with the Program Director to align initiatives with the broader goals of the NJ Vehicle Inspection Program.
**Office Administration**
+ Ensure that office activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and NJ Vehicle Inspection Program standards.
+ Provide administrative support as needed to streamline operational processes and maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
**Skills and Qualifications** :
+ **Organizational Leadership** : Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, set objectives, and oversee daily operations effectively.
+ **Proficiency in MS Office** : Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; proficiency in Visio and Microsoft Project is a plus.
+ **Change Management** : Proven experience in managing organizational change, improving processes, and implementing new systems or procedures.
+ **Communication Skills** : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team coordination and stakeholder engagement.
**Education** :
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
**Experience** :
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience with direct resource management in a similar role.

Salary Range:
$70,500.00 - $123,400.00
