Our client MDB Group is seeking to fill an Operations Officer - Administrator position for one of our customers in Warren, MI. We are a Small Business Administration certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in Lorton, Virginia. MDB Group provides Technical, Operational, Force Development, Financial, and Acquisition Consulting Services to the Department of Defense. We currently have team members supporting the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Programs (G-8) Force Development (FD) Directorates; the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology): and the Office of the Under Secretary of Defence for Intelligence & Security. We are honored to have been awarded our third consecutive Army G8 Force Development contract. Full Job Description: Job Title: Operations Officer - Administrator Job Location: On-site, Warren, MI (PEO GCS) Security Clearance: SecretPosition Requirements:
  • Five cumulative years of work experience (within the last 8- year period) in planning, organizing, tracking, and reporting on projects supporting a program life-cycle management processes.
  • Two years experience supporting a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) valued in excess of $185 million (ACAT I or II) using DoD 5000 weapon systems acquisition processes.
  • Three years experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control, office layout, and budgetary and personnel requirements; recommend systems and procedures; and implement approved changes.
  • Resolve administrative problems by analyzing information, identifying alternatives, making recommendations, and communicating approved solutions.
  • Identify functional and cross-functional requirements to maintain continuity of work operations, documenting and communicating recommended actions to management.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in applicable field (Business Management/Administration or Project Management), plus one full academic year of graduate education in the specialized field. OR a Bachelor's Degree in a specialized field (Business Management/Administration or Project Management), plus three years of applicable experience. OR a Bachelor's Degree in any field with a minimum of 5 years of specialized experience.
