Leading retailer seeking an Associate Production Planner!Onsite Reynoldsburg, Ohio

The Associate Production Planner is a vital individual contributor responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order management process across multiple brand channels, specifically within apparel.

This role includes article creation, purchase order management, issue resolution in collaboration with our offshore team, and comprehensive reporting and tracking of orders. The Associate Production Planner will engage in tactical cross-functional communication with regional partners to resolve issues and monitor orders.

Order Management:

  • Initiate and manage purchase orders (POs).
  • Resolve PO amendments and manage on-order reporting.
  • Review and respond to weekly order status reports (OSR) and conduct monthly audits.
  • Maintain delivery tracking and oversee dye and cut date management.
  • Direct offshore COMs team to ensure accurate data entry into Mainframe and SAP.
  • Follow up on planning requests to adjust orders and manage COMs/issue resolution.
  • Deliver value-added services and collaborate on tactical problem-solving with cross-functional peers.
  • Filter and escalate issues as necessary for resolution.
  • Review and interpret liabilities to ensure timely confirmation post-order placement.
  • Manage liability reporting and communicate liabilities to the brand.
  • Conduct commitment contract/raw material reconciliation and dispute case management.
  • Ensure accuracy of on-orders and manage reporting of commitments without POs.

Production Planning:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of CGLs (Costing and Gain Loss).
  • Adhere to the order schedule and update necessary tracking documents for cross-functional alignment.
  • Enter GNG (Go/No-Go) dates in WIPS (Work in Progress) to facilitate discussions and participate in weekly meetings.
  • Focus on order management related to speed orders, ensuring immediate issue resolution and escalation.
  • Publish order schedules for both flow and new fashion styles.
  • Maintain floorset reporting for late deliveries.

Cross-Functional Communication:

  • Collaborate effectively with logistics, DC operations, deployment, planning, merchants, product development, regional teams, vendors, commercialization, product performance, and textiles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related role.
  • Internship experience in a corporate environment preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
