Job Description:

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking an Operations Program Manager – Senior Inventory Control and Configuration to work for our client in the Robotics industry. Apply now for consideration!

Contract: W2, 8-months with potential for extension

Location/Hours: North Reading, MA (Onsite); Monday-Friday- Day Shift (50 hours per week expected – 40 regular, 10 overtime)

Pay Range: $90-96/hour dependent on YOE

Brief Summary:

The Senior Inventory Control & Configuration Manager is responsible for implementing effective cycle count programs, investigating inventory discrepancies, and fine-tuning inventory levels to meet customer demand. This includes leveraging data analytics to identify optimization opportunities, as well as partnering with 3PL providers and internal teams to streamline processes and introduce automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure inventory accuracy across product categories by implementing cycle count programs, investigating discrepancies, and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand
  • Manage 3PL provider relationships, negotiate SLAs, and drive continuous operational performance improvements
  • Drive process improvements and system automation to eliminate manual inventory management tasks
  • Manage change orders and lead the change management process for manufacturing
  • Analyze inventory data, identify optimization opportunities, and implement solutions to improve turns, reduce waste, and enhance customer experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in inventory management, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, and optimization
  • Strong vendor management and 3PL coordination skills
  • Proficient in supply chain management tools and technologies (Oracle EBS, Agile PLM)
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization to drive key insights (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with ERP system implementations and supply chain planning tool transitions
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA and Kinaxis
  • APICS Certification CPIM or CSCP
  • Strong background in change management and driving system automation
  • Master's degree in supply chain management or business administration
