Statement of Purpose: Operations Project Manager (Remote)

The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple large strategic operational projects from initiation to delivery. This includes project definition, assignment of responsibilities, organization of project teams, setting deadlines, and monitoring expenses. This position manages all phases of the project to ensure completion within the designated timeline. The Project Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

  • Essential Functions: Operations Project Manager (Remote)

  • Lead the planning and implementation of company-wide project initiatives.
  • Define the scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships with vendors related to assigned projects.
  • Facilitate change management through training packages and leading company-wide training.
  • Prepares and maintains the Operation/Medical Nursing FTE Ratio Reports.
  • Lead clinic implementation projects, including the assimilation of acquired clinics, opening of new clinics, and the relocation of existing clinics.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, challenges, and milestones to executive leadership, the board of directors, and other stakeholders through regular presentations and reports.
  • Manage project risk and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary to minimize.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and lessons learned to improve project management processes and practices for future initiatives.
  • Applies for and monitors all necessary Federal, State, and Local licenses and permits for all clinics.
  • Contribute to team efficiency by giving support both operationally and administratively, in accordance with direction from the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Responsible for proactively maintaining knowledge of healthcare systems and processes, including clinical workflows, revenue cycle topics, EMR systems, and knowledge of ancillary services such as pharmacy and dental operations.
  • Perform research and compile information related to business assigned by the Chief Operations Officer.
  • Supports efforts to ensure that policies and procedures are appropriate to programs and services and that they are developed and/or adjusted according to programmatic changes and evolving community needs. May contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Assist in researching/implementing Lean principles.
  • Support short and long-term planning activities.
  • Utilizes project management tools and concepts.
  • Maintain knowledge of state and federal legislative and regulatory laws and rules.

  • Education/Professional: Operations Project Manager (Remote)

    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare and/or business arena recommended.
    • Six Sigma Certification-Green Belt preferred and/or required after completion of 12-months of employment,
    • Project Management Professional Certification preferred and/or required after completion of 12-months of employment.
