What you will be doing:
  • Performing statistical analysis and data analytics in support of mission engineering studies to guide decisions focused on the end-to-end mission to identify new or enhanced capabilities and provide impacts of performance levels on NC3 system of systems.
  • Assist in documenting the action of studies, recommending (and coordinating with) study participants, setting up and facilitating meetings, and defining timelines and deliverables.
  • Producing engineering analysis reports informed by mathematical modeling to recommend process improvements or efficiencies for solving documented NC3 gaps.
  • Supporting limited scope technical quick reaction (e.g. two weeks turnaround) analysis of NC3/National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) systems issues in support of the NC3/NLCC community.
  • Advising and assisting the Government in defining of NC3 Enterprise Figures of Merit (FOM) target for model based systems engineering and Mission engineering (ME) studies.
  • Supporting the development of Measures of Effectiveness & Performance (MOE and MOPs), as well as other relevant performance criteria targeting measurement at the System of Systems level.
Minimum Experience:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS w/SCI eligibilityEducation: High School DiplomaYears of experience: 11+ years relevant experience including:
  • 5+ years experience in optimization, data mining, statistical analysis, and/or mathematical modeling, to develop solutions that help organizations operate more efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • 2+ years' experience using Tableau or other similar data visualization and analytics tools
  • Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Experience:Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field plus 5+ years' relevant experience in optimization, data mining, statistical analysis, and/or mathematical modeling, to develop solutions that help organizations operate more efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • NC3 experience (desired).

  • This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus
  • The base pay for this position ranges from $81,700 to $122,000 across the U.S. There is a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training and education
