Position Overview
As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Plant Manager in managing operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and achieving outstanding results in safety, quality, cost, and service.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supervising and guiding a team of production employees while managing production and shipping schedules.
- Providing hands-on leadership, mentoring, and coaching to foster a positive work environment.
- Supporting compliance with established operational policies.
- Contributing to cost management and yield performance in alignment with the Plant's P&L.
- Implementing cost control measures and process improvements.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and safety improvements (Zero Harm).
- Executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) effectively across the Plant.
- Identifying and implementing Lean opportunities to minimize waste.
- Assisting in the recruitment, development, and evaluation of plant staff.
- Optimizing asset utilization through efficient scheduling and transportation management.

Scope: This position manages a plant budget of $5-20M and oversees 30-100 indirect reports across one location.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations/Supply Chain or relevant experience.
- Six Sigma/Lean certification is a plus.
Experience:
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
- Familiarity with private fleet management or transportation practices is beneficial.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proven ability to manage and develop non-exempt production staff.
- Competence in safety performance management.
- Understanding of supply chain practices and metrics.
