The Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the employees within the operations department to ensure that electronic products are refurbished and recalibrated according to production, compliance and product quality goals. What You'll Be Doing

  • Safety: making sure all employees are working in a safe environment.
  • Ensure equipment is running in a safe working order. (Calibrating equipment, fixing equipment)
  • Responsible for day to day interaction with operations employees; delivery of information, escalating issues and making sure tasks are delegated appropriately.
  • Train employees on new processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring each area is appropriately staffed for production.
  • Ensuring all employees follow all policies and procedures and coaching/discipline is given as needed.
  • Complete annual employee evaluations.
  • Complete daily time and attendance and monitor weekly time worked.
  • Ensuring employees have all the tools needed to do their daily work including but not limited to; tools, training materials, safety equipment, etc.
  • Complete weekly inventory count
  • Responsible for issuing out all consumables
  • Maintain a steady flow of production and address issues in a timely fashion, escalate when needed.
  • Work with other departments in a professional manner, as necessary.
  • Arrange and maintain work area consistent with 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • All other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of progressive leadership experience required, preferably in an electronic consumer product repair, refurbish and reverse logistics.
  • Excellent math and computer skills, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement is preferred.
