Location: Norwich,NY, USA
Pay Range: $58,500.00 - $76,726.00
Under general supervision, organizes staff, oversees, and controls the performance of work assigned to the operations department. Maintains effective communication with other departments in order to facilitate workflow and maximize customer service. May be required to supervise multiple departments if needed.
Education and Experience:
* Associates Degree and/or equivalent business experience
* Supervisory experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
* Accounting principles, organizational skills, basic banking practices, knowledge of bank products
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* PC skills in a Windows environment to include Word/Excel
* Regulations governing deposit/loan accounts
* Performance management skills with ability to supervise staff
Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:
Could occasionally be required to work outside of normal business hours including evenings or weekends
Tasks Performed:
* 30% Provides supervisory support, direction, and training to assigned staff. Coaches employees for top performance.
* 25% Make daily decisions regarding the department's workflow to maintain established service levels.
* 20% Research, analyze, and resolve complex problems/issues related to the department's activity.
* 10% Review, recommend, and implement improvements to internal practices and work methods.
* 5% Ensures that updated procedures are being maintained for functions applicable to the department's activity.
* 5% Maintain a knowledge and understanding of the bank's products, services and systems applicable to department.
* 5% Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
* Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
* Stationary 75% of time or greater
* Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
