The Ziegenfelder Operations Supervisor is responsible for: • Accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, developing, enhancing training; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies, and procedures. • Monitor materials, maintenance, changeovers, and staffing on the production lines to achieve production goals, ensure safe, efficient production to produce quality Ziegenfelder treats ready for delivery to customers. • Monitor quality data and collaborate with Quality Tribe to ensure appropriate production of Ziegenfelder treats. • Coordinate preventative and corrective procedures with Maintenance Tribe to ensure production lines running efficiently. • Drive accountability for ongoing production training, and development for all plant employees. Supporting a culture of continuous learning and development for successful personal and professional outcomes. Provide real time employee feedback. • Be an active presence on the plant floor addressing behaviors and coaching all aspects of the operation. • Ensure proper tracking and communication of call offs, no shows, and leaving early of employees with appropriate personnel. • Investigate safety incidents and accidents to ensure appropriate reporting and documentation. • Operate machines as necessary, including but not limited to production lines, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. This position will report to the Wheeling Director of Operations Who We Are The Armstrong Group is a family owned and operated collection of diverse companies.
