From training to problem-solving to maintaining equipment, your work will help save lives. Specifically, we need you to:Assist Operations Manager with planning, organizing and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful night shift operations.Assist with leading workers and Lead persons. Assist with maintaining a positive morale, work standards and developing teams.Assist with training and managing employee performanceAssertively seek solutions to problems at the root level.Ensure warehouse operations comply with federal, state, and local company policiesAssist with controlling expensesAssist with reducing employee turnover / Assist with reducing overtime working hoursEnsure warehouse equipment and vehicles are well maintained and that housekeeping meets company standards.Interview, hire, and develop a teamGives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.Minimum RequirementsTypically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.Critical RequirementsExperience managing, leading and developing staffComputer proficiency in MS OfficeExcellent and effective business communication skills both verbally and in writingAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment and make strong business decisionsDemonstrated employee engagement skillsExperience inspiring a team, leveraging strengths, executing a strategy, advancing a business, and developing self/othersExcellent and effective business communication skills both verbally and in writingSkill at communicating insights and understanding of issues and problemsMust be open to flexible hours to support McKesson, the team, and our customer; must also be open to adjusting shift and overtime as needed based on business requirements.Experienced in analyzing data and conditions in real-time and adjusting as neededAdditional Knowledge & SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; 4-year degree preferredIndustry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment preferredSkilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline and record keepingWMS experience preferredMS Access proficiency and ability to interpret and analyze dataPreferred 2+ years managerial experiencePhysical RequirementsHigh energy distribution center environmentSome overtime requiredWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
