Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Ensures that standards and procedures are being followed. Leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals including optimal guest satisfaction.Life as an Operations Supervisor:Directly supervises the Front Desk and F&B department operationsWorks closely with the Leadership Team. Acts as a relief manager or supervisor when teams are on vacation. Promote staff engagement and team work to provide optimum service so that guest needs are met in the Rooms, and Food & Beverage operations. Within Food and Beverage operations Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, thank guest with genuine appreciation.Speak with others using clear and professional language, answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for peers and associates.Resolve customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions.Make decisions and act based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situation.Authorize rebate/ allowances to resolve problems only after other alternative solutions have been offered.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Must dress consistently with professional clothing and shoes.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.What we're looking for:2 years college degree or equivalentPrevious experience in a hotel strongly preferredMinimum 1 years' experience in the guest services, hotel front desk, food and beverage, or related professional areaOpen availability is requiredGalaxy Lightspeed Property Management System preferred, but not requiredSkills: Leadership, oral & written communication, customer service, and computer skillsAccounting knowledgeAttention to detail and organizational abilityWhat to expect in your first few months:First, you will become familiarized with the property and your associates!
