Additionally, you must have a proven ability and desire to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team.Role Objectives:Motivate, empower, and lead your team through your solution-oriented, critical thinking leading methodology while delivering answers to complex situations.Assist in the communication between employees and upper management.Meet and surpass corporate goals by making the best use of your employees and resources.Direct work of employees to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements; address production challenges and communicate to appropriate leadership.Set performance goals and deadlines in line with the company's vision, monitoring budget and reporting variances to leadership.Oversee general administrative work including planning meetings, making phone calls, and distributing scheduling and job assignments.Communicate with customers to get feedback that can be used in improving processes and customer service; assist in solving problems and providing consulting assistance to create brand loyalty and lasting relationships.Jobs Skillsets & Qualifications:Availability to work full-time, including some weekends (all weekends during peak times)A bachelor's degree, and/or 4 to 6 years of management experience in supply chain or logistics managementIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookExemplary Communication, Leadership, and People Management Skillsets (an assessment for each will be administered).Superior organization, time-management, & multi-tasking skillsets a mustStrong knowledge of understanding of the fast-paced environment and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time.Excellent and proven critical thinker and solution-oriented leader and communicator.Daily and Weekly Duties:Ensure a safe, efficient, and friendly working environment.Lead, educate, and empower company employees.Plan and communicate daily loads to ensure freight is delivered on timeActively manage morning operations with 5,000+ shipments packages dailyCommunicate with dispatch at various service centers and with dock employees to coordinate the movement of trailers and freight.Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies.Balance delivery courier workloads to ensure equity, productivity, and employee success is maintained daily.Review, identify and improve daily Key Performance Index (KPI's)Analyze and optimize routes to increase productivity.Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.Assist other Supervisors as required.Successful candidates will possess:A bachelor's degree, and/or4 to 6 years of management experience in supply chain or logistics managementProficient in reading, writing, and speaking EnglishIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookPossess and demonstrate superior communication and interpersonal skills.Superior organization and time-management skillsetsMulti-tasking capabilities with the understanding of how to handle multiple concurrent matters of importance.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Clear understanding of data and how to run reports in Excel is particularly important.Investment of your hard work in a company that's willing to invest its resources in youOur Operations Supervisor will proudly receive the following:Salary starting at $65,000.Medical, dental & vision (after completing 90-day probationary period)Paid Holidays (after completing 90-day probationary period)Career advanced with career-defined pathways.#J-18808-Ljbffr
