Operations & Support Project Manager (Cloud & Business Tools)

Duration : 12+months

Location: Chicago IL/Peoria, IL/ Dallas, TX

Position Summary:

The Operations & Support Project Manager is responsible for managing the ongoing operations, support work, and technical escalations related to cloud-based business tools. This role includes handling escalated tickets, ensuring the continuous monitoring and observability of systems, and providing support to dealer and customer-facing applications. The Project Manager will also manage team projects using Azure DevOps to ensure smooth execution, from support ticket resolution to addressing complex technical challenges. This role is key in bridging the technical operations team with leadership, ensuring swift issue resolution, and overseeing progress on key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations and Support: Manage and resolve escalated tickets from level 1 teams, including customer-facing issues, ensuring a seamless process for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cloud-Based Monitoring & Support: Use AWS tools such as CloudWatch and Lambda to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues within cloud-based business tools.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical leads, management, and project managers to unblock and resolve complex technical issues related to onboarding processes, user stories, and feature implementation.
  • Project Management: Oversee the management of team projects using Azure DevOps, including tracking progress, managing timelines, and coordinating team efforts to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communication & Escalations: Facilitate escalations to management when necessary, and maintain open lines of communication across teams to resolve issues swiftly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor key systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend changes to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

Education & Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in cloud-based operations and project management.
  • Alternatively, an Associate's degree with 7+ years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Proficiency with AWS tools, specifically CloudWatch and Lambda.
  • Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Kibana or Grafana.
  • Experience with Agile sprint planning.

Compensation, Benefits and Ancillaries

Compensation

This is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position $45 - $50 (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
