Position Summary:The
Operations Support Rep (OSR) serves as a support role to all of the faces and voices of Telhio. They research and correct member issues, process and respond to service request, processing loan funding, as well as processing and responding to member related legal correspondence such as court orders, child support and garnishments. They are efficient and continually utilize their research and analytical talents when providing exceptional service to their internal and external members.
What you will do: - Process Court Orders and Subpoenas within Court established deadline
- Fulfill all requirements of court order/subpoena
- Pull copies of items including deposits requested by members
- Perform Check free account maintenance
- Verify address changes from data change report
- File GAP claims for direct and indirect
- Maintain the dormant, inactive accounts and reports unclaimed funds to the state every year
- Process: Indirect Gap loans, garnishments and tax levies, e-statement requests, IRS back up withholding requests, MRC policy cancellations, miscellaneous payments, management approved extension agreements and/or due date changes, Warranty Refunds on charged-off indirect products, payoff, insurance, and member checks received in the office, encoding errors, Weekly processing of Share charge offs, Credit Life and Disability claims, all mail returned for bad addresses, Loan Breaks and SSCRA for members active in military
- Answer verification of deposit requests
- Order office supplies as needed
- Charge-off member loan accounts that have been authorized by the Board of Directors each month
- Close all member accounts upon realization that the Credit Union has suffered a loss
- Post checks returned to Telhio from the Lockbox company
- Verify and load stop payments for corporate checks and member share draft accounts
- Mail denied loan letters
- Perform functions in the role as scanner each day, hours designated are assigned by management
- Responsible for pulling and working monthly reports
- Processing special projects and reports as assigned
What you will need: - Must have solid system knowledge such as FSP and Ultradata
- Strong computer/PC skills. Must have ability to operate standard office equipment such as copier and calculator.
- Retail/financial sales experience a plus
- Must have experience in ACH, Court Orders and Share Draft Policies
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong organizational skills to provide a high level of accuracy on all documents and data input
- Must be efficient
- Possesses team attitude and professionalism
- Strong Mathematical and analytical skills are necessary
- Must maintain confidentiality of all member account activities
- Must have a High School diploma or GED
