**Scope of Position:**

In this role, you will lead and coach manufacturing employees for the CPT business at the Big Flats plant. Your responsibilities will include shift performance towards production objectives and personnel adherence to plant procedures, policies, and documentation.

**Day to Day Responsibilities:**

* Frontline leadership for production operations

* Working with other team members to solve difficult technical, engineering and operations related problems.

* Lead shift operations to achieve production goals.

* Provide focus and direction to production employees.

* Lead resources (people, materials, equipment) to optimize throughput and quality.

* Balance production with validation runs, equipment upgrades, process improvements and maintenance activities.

* Meet all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

* Create and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

* Build a culture of process discipline and change management.

* Track and report production metrics.

* Develop staffing and training plans for production operators.

* Establish effective relationships with union and support groups.

**Travel Requirements:**

Limited, under 10%.

**Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:**

24/7 rotating shifts

**Education and Experience:**

* BS Engineering or related technical field.

* Minimum of 0-3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (work, school, or community).

**Required Skills:**

* Character ethic, integrity and leadership.

* Ability to train, coach, and direct others.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

* Process control and discipline.

* Capacity to learn and grow.

* Strong customer advocacy.

* Experience with early stage manufacturing and new product delivery.

* Union relations.

* FDA regulations and cGMP.

* Safety, Health, Environmental compliance preferred
