Job Overview
Performs routine tests on products manufactured for sale. Responsible for performing the following: calibration, hypot, transient and final test routines. Also responsible for performing one or a combination of installing, repairing or troubleshooting electronic assemblies to the component level on solid state or digital electronic equipment.
A Day In The Life
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Tests, troubleshoots and repairs electronic assemblies that do not conform to specifications.
* Maintains accurate records of test data and test time.
* Actively supports our continuous improvement quality program by providing feedback and recommendation on activities centered around workstation.
* Accesses product information from MIS terminal and run ATS programs and program EEPROMS.
* Test products according to specification within prescribed time standard.
* Accurately reports time spent on various jobs, Electrical Summaries, Contract Reports and other required forms used to complete the manufacturing process.

Skills and Experience:
* Ability to isolate faults accurately and in a timely manner.
* Training in troubleshooting solid state and digital circuits to the component level.
* Ability to work in an organized efficient manner.
* Knowledge of troubleshooting digital and active filter circuits at production level and be able to demonstrate that knowledge.
* General electronics and technical repair background and apply that background to Beckwith Product base.
* Have or develop working knowledge of Beckwith products.
* Effectively use Digital multimeters, oscilloscopes (analog/digital), synthesizer/functional generator, AC power supply, DC power supply, hypot tester (AC/DC), hand solder tools.
* Hand soldering experience is required.
* Two years experience in a production test environment.
* Prior experience using PC computer, Windows Office Suite software such as Word and Excel. Knowledge of DOS environment.
Education:
Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent Military experience.
