Your Opportunity as Operator 1, ProductionAs a part of the Production Team, you are responsible for several bakery manufacturing activities. As an operator 1 worker, you must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, be able to communicate and work effectively in a team structureand be flexible in work assignments within the operator category. The assignments are as follows: Mixer, Fryer, Oven Operator, Wrap Operator, Depositor, Scaler, VFFS, Pearson, Vari Straight Right/Left, Enrober, Forklift, Yard Dog. You must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions, safely and accurately complete assigned duties and maintain GMP standards. You will be a part of the Food Defense Team.Location: Arkadelphia, AR bakeryWork Arrangements: 100% Onsite - 3rd Shift - 11:00p-7:00am,In this role you will:* Responsible for setting up operation of bakery equipment/manufacturing line, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products per production guidelines.* Ensures compliance with Production/Packaging procedure/practices as well as inspecting all areas within one (1) line/equipment for any operational and/or mechanical issues.* Reports all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager as soon as possible.* Complete and submit reports throughout the day regarding production.* Visually inspects product for quality and quantity.* Monitoring runs and performing basic troubleshooting on our Bakery equipment.* Support quality control programs to ensure production procedures follow best practices of food safety and quality standards.* Understands and complies with all safety procedures that apply to daily operations.* Work safely; follow proper lock out/tag out procedure where applicable.* Maintains a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety policy and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures.* Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.* May perform other duties not listed.Right Place for YouWe are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together. These items must be kept on the premises.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud.Physical Demands* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
