Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment.We are looking for microwave electronics assemblers with:
  • 1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly.
  • Experience performing microscopic soldering of electronic components, including surface mount devices (SMDs), through-hole components, and fine-pitch components.
  • Shift Schedules: First shift position.
  • All applicants must be team players highly motivated to learn the complex assembly requirements of microwave systems.
  • This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope.
  • Communication skills and a high energy and commitment to quality products are extremely important.
  • This role includes working on continuous improvement teams along with development engineering and manufacturing.
  • All candidates will have the opportunity to be trained in soldering to IPC-610 as well as other skills using internal resources and certified outside trainers.
Requirements: The Manufacturing Assembly Associate position requires a high school diploma. A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus.
  • Must be a US citizen and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and documentation.
  • Comfortable working with a computer.
  • Commitment to learn and develop new skills.
  • Security clearance is required (application will be done through ADI).
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.
  • Assembly of microwave subassemblies using hybrid techniques.
  • In process inspection and self-inspection.
  • MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy.
  • Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder.
  • Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies.
  • Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline.
  • Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.
  • Good dexterity, eye / hand coordination.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings.
  • Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings.and work instructions as well as other job activities.
