Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 2nd shift Laser Operator responsible for Monitoring and maintain laser trim operations.Job Location:Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!What you will be doing:
  • Ability to read and write in order to interpret production documents and accurately record required information such as part number, lot number, special instructions and process sequences.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a leaned method or a calculator.
  • Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity in order to accurately process the products manufactured.
  • Ability to understand verbal instructions in order to take work direction and accurately manufacture products.
  • Ability and confidence to make correct decisions for obtaining accurate annealing results.
  • Is qualified to perform multiple jobs or has responsibility for training other employees.
What you will bring along:
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to read and write in order to interpret production documents and accurately record required information such as part number, lot number, special instructions and process sequences.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a learned method or a calculator.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in order to work with chemicals in a safe manner.
  • Ability to perform more than one job function simultaneously.
  • Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity in order to accurately process the small products manufactured.
Pay Range:
  • $16.50 - $18 per hour
