Rewind material into a specified length while spark testing and patching when necessary.GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentMust read, write, and speak English; Bilingual in Spanish is a plusMust be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods of timePRIMARY JOB TASKS: Carrollton Rod Mill: Maintain proper tundish and launder spares; rebuild, break out, casting of new sectionsMaintain proper tundish and launder spares; rebuild, break out, casting of new sectionsAssist the Casting, Operator with weekly and semi-annual shutdowns, out-of-the-mill tasksEnsure casting checklist is completedAssist with troubleshooting issuesMonitor casting pit for leakage, foam, wheel, water issues, etc.Train on casting operation and furnaceCertify on crane and forkliftManufacturing and Production:Responsible for operation of palletizerResponsible to maintain correct flow of material on conveyor systemResponsible to perform minor maintenance on palletizer, stretch column and conveyorResponsible to assure that the palletizer properly stacks pallets of cartons and spools.
