OverviewEXTRUSION MACHINE OPERATORS Hiring Immediately!Do you have experience working as an Extrusion Operator or Plastics Machine Operator?If so, we are looking for you!Shifts: Monday thru Friday2nd Shift: 2:45 pm to 11:45 pm * $1.50 shift differentialPay rate: $24.10 an hourPaid WeeklyBenefitsEligible for benefits first of the month following hire dateMultiple medical and prescription drug coverage optionsChoice of an Employer-Funded Health Care Account (HCA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)Integrated healthcare programs - telemedicine, chronic condition, weight management and MSK healthMultiple dental and vision plan coverage optionsFlexible spending accounts (FSA)Healthcare, dependent careCompany provided life and accidental death, short and long-term disability programsSupplemental life, accidental death, and disability buy-up optionsAccident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insuranceEmployee well-being reward programEmployee assistance program (EAP)Child and family care support programEducational assistance and tuition reimbursement programEmployee discount program401(K) with 6% company match (Eligible to participate from day one with 100% vesting in all company provided money immediately)ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:Ability to follow department procedures regarding roll identification, labeling, slitter production records, and reclaim roll procedures.Operation of all downstream equipment, including edge trim grinders, pull roll stand, silicon coater and winder.Handling of OPS roll stock from the winder into the slitter and then to WIP racking systems.QC lab testing for OPS sheet, SPC control charting and QA/S computer skills.Assist in recycling scrap OPS sheet.Assist the Operator C (Specialist) in threading up the entire orienteer line from the die to the slitter, including the MDO and TDO.Ability to interface with computer control systems and quality lab instruments and QA/S systems.QualificationsQualifications:Develop a good working knowledge of the equipment, controls, safety features, and operating procedures of all repel lines to ensure safe operation.Perform required Lockout/Tagout Procedures.Perform required preventative maintenance tasks.Assist with line maintenance when possible.Call help chain when required.Other tasks as assigned by management.Follows all Plant Safety Policies & Procedures.Participate in safety programs.Must be knowledgeable of SAP and Lift Truck certified in a Manufacturing/Production environment.Company OverviewPactiv Evergreen Inc. is one of the largest manufacturers of fresh food & beverage packaging in North America, with market leading positions across a broad range of products.
