PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operation of the Truck Wash Station as per written procedures.
- Prepare all trailers for loading per loading procedure and fill out the loading paper work.
- Supply plant departments with necessary raw materials and packaging items.
- Perform routine and non-routine cleaning inside and outside the facility as required by the department master cleaning schedule and/or the General Service Supervisor or Lead Operator.
- Maintain the warehouse and cooler keeping each location clean and orderly.
- Document, inspect, and unload materials as per written procedures.
- Assist other departments with cleaning or production functions.
- Cross train into other departments as necessary.
Secondary DutiesSpecial projects as directed by General Services Manager, Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Additional requirements are listed below. Requires ability to operate cleaning equipment and supplies such as vacuum, mop, and floor scrubber. Requires ability to operate forklift. Requires ability to prioritize and organize tasks, and follow through to ensure completion of assignments. Communication skills and customer service skills needed in relationships with coworkers, management and other departments within the company. Computer proficiency required. Requires ability to work under minimal supervision. Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks, follow through on assigned tasks, and communicate issues to supervisor.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED is required.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
