Operator - Hydrovac

Position Summary:Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching and digging.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:* Work outdoors - perhaps in some extreme climates* Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensure hydrovac truck and all equipment are in good working condition* Preform pre and post inspections, as well as routine maintenance* Must be able to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl repetitively* Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts* HAZWOPPER, TENORM, H2S, Confine Space and Rescue, First Aid, training preferred* OSHA 10, required within 30 days of hire* Assist fellow crew members wherever required to get the job done (may entail manual labor and/or be outside your ticketed trade)* CDL preferred* May work around some hazardous material* Hydrovac experience preferred* Set up and inspect grounding and/ or bonding procedures for hydrovac operation* Personal Protective equipment (PPE) required* Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening* Driver's License required* Complete all required paperwork properly and submit on timeEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMartin Construction, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer
